Nonna's & Anna's Journey: Tiffany's Baby Shower

Tiffany's Baby Shower

She had a good turn out for her shower and she received lots of nice things.

I must say Thank You, Thank You Teresa for all of your hard work and help - I couldn't have done it by myself.

My Step Mom - "Donna" made the diaper cake - it turned out so cute and Tiff was so proud of it - I hope she uses the diapers - but she really didn't want to break it when she took it home.

I also have to Thank My Dad - who bought the cake for the shower - Thanks Dad - You are the best. Him and My Step Mom also bought Tiff a Baby Bed & Mattress, Changing Table, Vibrating sheet and some bottles and some other things that I can't think of right now - But they have helped her out a whole lot - and words can not say enough about the appreciation she and I both feel.

This is Tiffany with her cousin Paige - Paige was a big help setting up for the shower - She helped Teresa Diaper the Chocolate Chip Cookies, then she grated cheese for me to put in the Spinach & Artichoke Dip and then she help place the chairs and after the shower she helped us clean up - I can't believe how she has grown up - WOW Paige - What a fine and pretty young lady you are growing up to be. Aunt Donna is so PROUD of you ! I also have to Thank my Mom and Step Dad - They made sure Paige was able to be at the house - Thanks so much - She was truly a blessing to have at the house.

This was the gift table - My Mom and Step Dad bought Tiffany at GREAT Car Seat - it's an Alpha and Omega and it's for 5 pounds unto 50 pounds - Anna will have plenty of growing room with this seat and she will be cruising around in a SAFE and SECURE Seat - THANKS SO MUCH MOM!!!!

Mrs. Lanier got her a case of Diapers and a Pack of Wipes - that will be such a blessing - Tiffany can't even begin to understand the blessing - Thanks Mrs. Lanier!

Brandy got her a diaper bag with Anna's name on it and it is SO pretty and Tiff is so proud of it - the picture didn't turn out so I will have to try and remember to get another picture of it soon - Thanks Brandy!

On the invitation - We suggested that each guest bring a book for baby and she had a great response for that request - I can not even begin to list the books - But hopeful I will be able to read some of them to her soon. The next 2 pictures are of a book Tiffany received and also her First Baby Book - Turns out they are the same book - one is just smalled and more worn. I thought that was neat.

Tiffany said she remember me telling her how I read that book over and over to her and she had hoped Anna would have one - It worked out - I don't remember who bought it but she got it - How neat - !

Nichola got her the Fisher Price Aqua Bowl for the Crib - that was one of the things Tiff had registered for. Thanks Nichola and Thanks for coming - It really meant a lot to me.

Amanda - a girl I work with painted Letters that Spell Anna that can be hung on the wall and then she painted a picture frame and also a little Dress that has Anna's name on it that can be hung on her door. Thanks Amanda - Tiffany teared up on this one - she really like it!!!!!

This is one of the little outfits Paige picked out for her - It is so cute - You did great Paige picking out the gifts and Anna will love the Book and the Bunny! Aunt Donna will try and get pictures of Anna in the outfits so you will be able to see them on her.

This is a Crochet Pink Infant Blanket that my Step Mom Donna made - it is so soft and pretty - I think Tiffany will be using it to bring Anna home in - Tiffany is also going to use a White Dress outfit she came home in. After we have her picture made in it I want to have it framed in a Shadow Box. Just another neat moment for Nonna!
